THE PROGRAM

An initiative, led by The Intern Group with MIT Open Learning as a curriculum provider

Focused on closing the gap between opportunities and talent around the world through paid remote internships

Allowing MIT OL perform research on apprenticeships and real-life mentored learning

GOALS

  • Improving emerging talent job preparedness by training learners for internships

  • Supporting how companies can successfully recruit, onboard and retain this emerging talent by training company managers/supervisors to be better mentors

  • Understanding how to better promote real-life mentored learning through apprenticeships


GAP LEARNERS

  • Apprentices: Students, recent graduates and ReACT  learners

  • Mentors: Managers and supervisors within companies in charge of mentoring these apprentices
